Introduction
LINKages activities are purposeful and engaging, taking into account competencies and limitations of all participants. The activities stimulate learning, dialogue and interaction. Involved in the creation of these activities is the use of a number of different intergenerational strategies, all of which are grounded in solid research and best practices. We work collaboratively with other intergenerational practice providers at a local, provincial, and national level. Resources are shared and promoted. There are many good resources already available for those interested in starting their own project or activity. The following link with our fellow service provider will be helpful and will help guide you through creating, planning, implementing and evaluating your program:
i2i Intergenerational Society
Helping Generations See Eye to Eye, i2i connects intergenerational projects across Canada and shares current research in the field.
