We need to work with our partners to showcase the benefits of collaboration and the positive impact that transpires when Intergenerational Programming is tailored to the needs of individual school programs and care facilities.  By sharing our experiences with other nonprofit groups and agencies, we can expand our reach in the community by encouraging these agencies and care providers to develop their own models of Intergenerational Programming.

 

Did you know…? On November 2, 2006 we hosted a workshop featuring the emerging field of Intergenerational studies.  At this event we explored local programs, discussed experiences of working with culturally diverse communities, provided insight to training and recruitment, and discussed the outcomes and evaluations of programming on participants.
