Financial Needs

Over the last three years LINKages has received double the requests for programs and workshops for service providers. Each School/Senior’s Residence partnership in Calgary runs for one full year costs LINKages approximately $15,000 to provide the support for successful recruitment, program development, matching, intergenerational activities, volunteer recognitions, and year end evaluations. A final written report is provided to all our major donors outlining yearly outcomes with financial reports on how their contributions have impacted our youth and older adults.

The demand also tells us that LINKages expertise is respected within the community and we have been approached to share best and promising practices through our "Train the Trainer" workshops developing collaborations throughout Alberta. Since 2008 LINKages has provided dozens of workshops locally and throughout the province resulting in thousands of new youth and senior connections. We couldn’t do this work without our supporters.
