Programs Section
The Programs section is the main location for information on the different projects that LINKages creates and supports in the ever-present challenge of bridging the gap between generations. The following is a brief introduction to the section and its content:
LINKages takes on a number of roles in the development of intergenerational programs (IGPs); it does this with the knowledge that the benefits of bringing together generations can be experienced in different formats and environments:

Junior and senior high programs: These programs partner schools with retirement residences and lodges.

YACS (Young Adults Connecting with Seniors): This program matches students (aged 18 to 25) with isolated or lonely seniors.

Community Initiatives: Building upon our LINK project, we’re training members of the community on how to implement and sustain IGPs that are unique to the needs of each community.

Community Events: This page has information on the community events that LINKages regularly participates in.
