History

LINKages Society of Alberta is a community-based registered charity that was originally founded as the Friends of Seniors Foundation in 1994. With an extensive amount of experience, LINKages is recognized for the successful implementation of programs that connect young people with seniors in a number of different living arrangements, such as seniors residences and independent-living.

LINKages has developed meaningful, outcomes-oriented programs, which are developed to

• build bridges between the generations,
• decrease negative attitudes and myths,
• promote greater understanding and respect for generations,
• and instill the personal benefits of volunteering
