Recently, when the students from the St. Stephens school were unable to visit their senior friends due a flu outbreak at the care centre, LINKages staff brought yarn and ideas to the student to ‘knit’ a scarve for their senior. The idea was met with great enthusiasm and everyone participated. Some students even took the project home so that they can create a bigger scarve. When the next visit came around, the students presented the scarves to the seniors who are truly delighted to receive such a thoughtful gift from their young friends. If only you could hear the excited chatter in the room when they shared their experiences!
