Art is a long-time senior participant of our LINKages program. For us here at LINKages, the mention of Art always evoked smiles, affection and just pure fondness for a man who wears his joy and contentment on his face. He always had a smile on his face and laughs readily when interacting with the students. We once had a sing along led by some wonderful volunteer song birds and I still remember Art singing his heart out along with his student partners, and gleefully delighted with the noise he was making with his marakas! His warm and joyous spirit was simply infectious. We were deeply saddened by the news of his passing. It was indeed a huge privilege to have known him. He has left an indelible mark on our hearts and those of the students whom he has partnered with over the years. Art planted seeds of kindness, of joy and of the simple appreciation for all things in life. The world is a better place because of Art. We miss you.
